4. Custom Orders & Fitting Policy
All garments are crafted using client-submitted or in-person-measured data. By placing a custom order, you acknowledge the following:
- Final Sale: All made-to-measure and bespoke garments are final sale. Cancellations, exchanges, or refunds are not permitted once fabric is cut or production begins.
- Fit Adjustments: We offer complimentary minor alterations within 14 calendar days of delivery or pickup for adjustments directly related to fit (e.g., sleeve, waist, or pant length).
- Measurement Accuracy: Clients are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any self-submitted measurements or photos in virtual fittings. Garments produced from inaccurate inputs are not eligible for complimentary remakes or refunds.
- Style Confirmation: Clients must review and confirm all garment specifications before order production. This includes lapel type, lining, buttons, and fit preferences.
5. Consultations & Virtual Services
David Zala provides in-person and virtual appointments for styling and measurement.
- Virtual fittings are offered as a convenience and rely on customer cooperation and clear visuals.
- We reserve the right to reschedule consultations based on availability, technical errors, or staff scheduling.
- By booking a consultation, you agree to attend promptly and communicate changes or cancellations at least 24 hours in advance.
6. Production & Delivery
- Production timelines for garments range between 3 to 6 weeks, depending on seasonality, fabric choice, and order complexity.
- All delivery timeframes are estimates. We are not liable for courier delays, customs clearance issues, or acts beyond our control (e.g., strikes, weather).
- Shipping fees are calculated at checkout. International clients are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes incurred.
- If delivery fails due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by you, any additional shipping costs will be your responsibility.
7. Pricing, Taxes, and Payments
- All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.
- Payment must be completed in full before an order is processed. We accept major credit cards, debit, and secure digital payments.
- Applicable taxes (HST/GST/PST) are charged in accordance with Canadian law and the customer’s shipping destination.
- Promotional codes, discounts, and offers are subject to specific terms and may not be combined unless expressly stated.
8. Return & Refund Policy
Due to the handcrafted and personalized nature of our garments:
- No returns or refunds are accepted once a custom garment enters production.
- If you believe your order is defective or contains a manufacturing error, contact us within 5 business days of receiving your item for an evaluation.
- Upon review, we may offer alterations or issue a remake if we determine the fault lies with our craftsmanship or production.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
All Website content—including logos, photographs, videos, editorial content, design elements, and trademarks—is the exclusive property of David Zala and/or its partners.
